Dave and I with our trusty Brian James trailer. This is the Porsche 924S race car before we started work. Why is it that Guards red fades so badly?
Dave and I re-enact the scenes from ‘On The Buses’… Mustn’t mention ‘Summer Holiday’ for legal reasons…
How hard can selling a 1-owner, 27,000 mile Triumph Herald be? Answer? ‘Not very.’ This was a doddle to find this car a new home! We had a lovely lady that wanted to come and view it at the show, and in the end, we were fighting off other potential suitors. What a car – and what a lovely original owner!
Proof that with a great photographer – and a whole heap of good lighting… anyone can look good in a studio…
Another shot of the 924S again. Dave looks Victorian. I look camp. How did we get this gig again?
The finished article. Up to full MSA specs and about to get a kicking around Brands Hatch… where she excelled herself, I have to say!
Dave and I taking a break from filming at Clarkes Jaguars down south! What a great family and what a superb place! If you have an XJS… you need these guys on speed dial. Legends!
If Dave and I ever do go on tour… this is about the quality of tour bus we will probably be able to afford. Still, you gotta love an old Routemaster, eh?
Dave actually has a man-crush for Ken Fox… so he built him a ‘Wall-of-Death’ bike from an old Honda CB250. Amazingly, Ken is still alive…
A great looking bike this… but I fear I may need something bigger. I can ‘get my knee down’ while the bike is still upright…
Dave in his natural habitat… although if it was REALLY his natural habitat, he wouldn’t have the mask on. He loves a bit of solvent abuse, he does…
A Citroen H van in Cherry-Picker guise. Perfect for classic car fans that like to fix street lamps, or indeed, pick cherries in their spare time. As nice (and cool) as it was, we felt this could be a limited market… so went for a Horsebox version instead..
“Do a TV Times face”, they said. This was the best we could come up with. Can’t see it making the listing’s page somehow…
